little walks ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. this policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
when you create an account, we collect your username and password (securely hashed). if you sign in with apple, we receive your apple user identifier and, optionally, your name. we do not receive your apple email address unless you choose to share it.
when you use the app, we store the walk journal entries you create, including mood, dog's vibe, highlights, notes, walk date, duration, distance, and route data. if you upload photos, they are stored securely on our servers.
if you enable location tracking for walk recording, your gps coordinates are collected only during active walk sessions. location data is stored as part of your walk route and is never shared with third parties.
your data is used solely to provide the little walks journaling experience. we use it to display your walk history, generate memories, calculate streaks, and personalize your experience. we do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data.
your data is stored on secure servers using encrypted connections. passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. photos are stored using encrypted cloud storage. we implement reasonable security measures to protect your information.
your data is retained as long as your account is active. you can delete individual walk entries at any time. you can delete your entire account and all associated data (walks, photos, dog profile) directly from within the app by going to settings and tapping "delete account." deletion is immediate and permanent. you may also contact us at hi@andrewrohrlich.com to request account deletion.
we use apple's sign in with apple for authentication. we use revenuecat to manage subscriptions. these services have their own privacy policies. we do not share your walk data or journal content with any third party.
little walks is not intended for children under 13. we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. if we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

by downloading, installing, or using little walks, you agree to these terms. if you do not agree, please do not use the app.
you must create an account to use little walks. you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. you agree to provide accurate information and to not create accounts for fraudulent purposes.
little walks offers a 7-day free trial. after the trial period, a subscription is required to continue using the app. subscription options are $2.99/month or $24.99/year. payment is charged to your apple id account at confirmation of purchase. subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. you can manage and cancel subscriptions in your apple id account settings.
you agree to use little walks only for its intended purpose as a personal walk journal. you may not use the app to upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content. we reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
the little walks app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. your walk entries, notes, and photos remain your property. by using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content back to you within the app.
little walks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. we are not responsible for any loss of data, though we take reasonable measures to prevent it. little walks is not a substitute for veterinary advice or professional dog care guidance.
to the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
we may update these terms from time to time. continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. we will notify you of significant changes through the app.
